Today is a nice short travel day.

Wake up and pack up the bike and head out to the ferry at Wood Islands. I missed the first ferry but they leave frequently during the day so I wasn't to worried.

Get on the second ferry and head up stairs for breakfast. The ferry ride is one hour and fifteen minutes long. Up until 1997 when the bridge opened this was the only way to get to Prince Edward Island. The last time I was on this ferry was more than forty years ago.

After being first off the ferry it was a short ride to Caribou and Munroe's Island Provincial Park where I set up camp. Still early in the day I head in to Pictou.

I drove around what may seem aimlessly looking for the house where my dad and my grandparents lived. I drove by it about ten times not recognizing it.

I then headed to the post office to mail the t-shirts to my friend.

Then down to the waterfront to grab some food at The Lobster Bar. Another delicious lobster roll. Met three guys who were riding from Cape Breton and they checked out the Ural. The one guy is just down the street from where my mom lived.

After lunch I headed to the 'mall' to grab some things and saw a cigar store there. So I grabbed a small tin of Macanudos.

Across from the mall was a CT-133 Silver Star on display on a pedestal. I took a bunch of pictures and I was lucky I was there when I was. The town took the jet down two months later because of road construction. It will be put back up somewhere in the area once construction is done.
