O.K. a little bit late but I wasn't sure what I wanted to write about this.
This year, 2016, there is only one Friday the 13th and next year there are two but not in any warm month, January and October.
That being said this will be the only warm month Friday the 13th for two years.
Before I get into this maybe a little background on what Friday the 13th is.

Just added a new video to day nine of my East Coast Trip.
A quick little video of Grand Falls, New Brunswick. With all the rain fall the area has had over the past few days, the water was flowing fast.
So my worst fear for the bike is confirmed. It is not something simple like a push rod or a rocker arm but it is a failure of the bearings between the crank and the piston rod.
Small flakes in the oil when the valve covers are removed. (...)
Another glorious day. It looks like it is going to be a nice warm sunny day.
Pack up the tent and I start heading out towards Five Islands Provincial Park. It should only take about six to seven hours if all goes well.
I follow the coast line on the route called The Sunshine Trail. One of the small towns I pass through is called Tatamagouche. (...)
Today is a nice short travel day.
Wake up and pack up the bike and head out to the ferry at Wood Islands. I missed the first ferry but they leave frequently during the day so I wasn't to worried.
Get on the second ferry and head up stairs for breakfast. The ferry ride is one hour and fifteen minutes long. Up until 1997 when the bridge opened this was the only way to get to Prince Edward Island. The last time I was on this ferry was more than forty years ago. (...)
So today I have to get a new tire for the rear of the bike. (...)
Today I grab the ferry back to Prince Edward Island.
I woke up early enough to load up the bike and make it to the ferry on time. I usually have a problem with early ferries.
Once I depart the ferry I follow the east coast line to Nothhumberland Provincial Park. I decide to grab a cabin as it was only a few dollars more than a camp site.
Unload the bike and head in to a small town to grab fuel and beer. (...)
Today I plan to travel out to Ile D'Entree and do a little touring through the main island.
One thing I really want to try is mounting my gopro on my body so I can do video or a timelapse while I walk around. With this in mine I try out a chest harness for the gopro.
It may look silly compared to mounting it on my head but it will give a more stable straight ahead shot than being on the head were I would be looking all over the place and not very steady. (...)
Today is a beautiful day. It is warm, well at least the warmest day I've had so far and even with the constant wind the temperature is perfect.
Start the day with a quick stop at the ferry terminal to change my date of departure. It seems when I booked the ferry ride I had me leaving the very next day so had to change that.
Then it was off the the south end of the island, L'Île-du-Havre-Aubert. I must say that this is a stunningly beautiful island. (...)
I love an afternoon ferry.
Today starts off as a beautiful, sunny warm day. It will also be my second ferry ride as I head to Iles-de-la-Madeleine. And the best part, the ferry leaves at 14:00 so plenty of time to pack and get ready.
All packed up I head to Souris and the first stop is the gas station to fill up the tank and 25 litres into the Rotopax. Not allowed any more than that on the ferry. (...)
